Once again we have spoken to Raul and he has again astounded us with his CGI modelling creativity!
Without Raul the quality of the models used in the CGI sequences wouldn't be any where near as good.
If his modelling skills were to be compared to football players, he would be Pele!
The CGI for the 2nd instalment of Stellar Trek is coming along nicely and I'm happy to say Luke seems pleased with the recent scenes I've created!

Further Progress
BAD NEWS!
You know, doing the first block of filming was fun. I have to say though, that it want a much fun as I had hoped. It was quite long and stressful and since our primary character was incapacitated on the first day (due to a heavy night at a birthday party!) which I wasn't very impressed about, the first days shoot had to roll over to the second day (In which he had a hangover!)
I was very disappointed with the way the shoot went as it wasn't as funny as I had hoped! :(
GOOD NEWS!
Between the first block of filming and yesterday we were mainly concentrating on tweaking the story line, getting the CGI right and a few other things I can't talk about, but finally I got down to editing yesterday.
The good news was that the footage was was disappointed with was a lot better than I remember, so I put my 'disapointedness' down to tiredness and stress of the lead roll not turning up on the first day!!!!
So rest assured, bigger, better, funnier!!!!!
As always my pedigree chums, Watch this space!!!

Production Progress
Hi All
Well the first block of shooting is complete!
(Completed in January but we have been that busy we haven't been able to update this blog!)
So all of the bridge scenes have been shot and are in the can and one of the away missions. The CGI is coming on really well! Much much better that the CGI from Stellar Trek 1. Its gonna be a real treat and I cant wait for the finished product!
We already have an idea for Stellar Trek 3 and its going to be something a LOT different than you're expecting, but that's not likely to be in production until probably late this year. We don't even have the story yet!
I'm really excited about the finished Stellar Trek 2 so I hope you are too.
Once again, Watch this Space for further updates!

New Uniforms!
One of the lessons we learned while making Stellar Trek 1 was that some editing programmes, such as the one I was using at the time doesnt discriminate between the green screen and a blue t shirt! Their body would just disapear into the background!!!
Also, if you watch Stellar Trek 1 you can see a weird halo around some of the characters infront of the green screen.
This is the result of a reflection of the green on the coloured uniforms!
Because of this, and the time it takes to correct it during the editing process I have decided to change the uniform, to something more.... well, you will see! They are bing made right now and I have just seen a picture of one of the finished ones.
Filming starts in a week and I cant wait!

Writing of the sequel
Daily creative meetings are being held and the basic story has been written.
We are now in the process of ironing out all the creases and breaking the story up into manageable scenes.
The script for scene 1 is also nearly complete.
Luke the Director will also be receiving a new PC from Nick the CGI man. With this new PC Luke will have the software and the processing power to edit and produce the film!
Hopefully the set and props will be built in the next few weeks and filming will begin soon.

Stellar Trek 2 - Update
Well, we have a beiginning and an end and were currently on with the middle!
We know exactly where we are going with the story and were perfecting how to tell it!!
I cant wait to see the CGI once its finished!
Filming is scheduled for the end of January and we expect, as this film is expected to be bigger than Stellar Trek (1), it should take about 4 - 5 full days to complete (Not consecutivley)Stellar Trek was 3 days, with an expected release date of May - June. (CGI and Editing is labour intesive, especially when you have a full time job aswell!)
As co-writter and director, (Camera operator and editor!!!) what I can tell you so far is that it will be filmed in the conventinal Luke.S.Film way, which is where the film dialog never follows the script!!! We do it this way because as I can hope you see by the first Stellar Trek, as long as we sit on the storyline the dialog always flows and in most cases (as you can see on the outtakes) always has us in stitches!!!
Were going to keep this blog updated with production news.
As always - 'Watch this space!'
